Borgomaro celebrates Saint Anthony the Abbot on 17 January, in the parish church of 15th-century origin, rebuilt in Baroque style in the 18th century, which preserves a 1551 polyptych depicting Saints Nazarius and Celsus, attributed to Raffaele De Rossi.

The patron saint of Borgomaro is Saint Anthony the Abbot, celebrated on 17 January. The parish church dedicated to him, in the main town, has 15th-century origins, but the present structure was rebuilt during the 18th century in the Baroque style: inside is preserved a polyptych depicting Saints Nazarius and Celsus, with other religious figures linked to the Calvary of Jesus at the sides, a work dated 1551 and attributed to Raffaele De Rossi.

The town preserves two other notable historic churches, both the work of the Marvaldi family of architects: the pieve of Santi Nazario e Celso, not far from the settlement, with three naves supported by columns and squared slate capitals; and the parish church of San Bernardino, in the hamlet of Candeasco, whose origins date to the 12th century but which was completely rebuilt in the Baroque style between 1718 and 1722 to a design by Giacomo Filippo Marvaldi. Borgomaro also preserves a Romanesque bridge and the castles of Maro and Conio.
