The patron saint of Urbe is Saint James the Greater, celebrated on 25 July, with the church dedicated to him. The small town in the Ligurian Apennines preserves numerous other historic places of worship, including the church of San Rocco, the oratory of the Saints Philip and James, the church of San Pietro and that of Nostra Signora della Visitazione.
The town is crossed by the Orba stream, over which stands an old bridge bearing witness to the valley's historic communication routes.
