The patron saint of Saluzzo is Saint Chiaffredo, celebrated on the Monday following the first Sunday of September.
Since 2021, the town has hosted the Saluzzo Festival of the Medieval and Ancient Book, an event dedicated to medieval culture and history held in partnership with the Turin Book Fair. The municipal territory holds the Cathedral of Saluzzo and the Town Hall, as well as the Casa Cavassa Civic Museum and the Castiglia, the ancient castle of the marquises of Saluzzo.
