The patron saint of Cavagnolo is Saint Eusebius, celebrated on 1 August in the Parish Church of Santi Eusebio e Secondo.
The town was the birthplace of the servant of God Casimiro Barello (1857-1884), who set off on a pilgrimage from Cavagnolo all the way to Alcoy, in Spain. Cavagnolo also holds the Abbey of Santa Fede and the Castello di Cavagnolo, as well as the Baraccone, the confluence of the Po and Dora Baltea rivers.
