The patron of Chivasso is Blessed Angelo Carletti, celebrated on 27 August.
Every September, the traditional Chivasso Nocciolini Festival is held, dedicated to the town's typical sweet: an entire weekend, spread through the streets of the centre, devoted to local food, dining and good drink. Since 2021, the event has also included GiocaChivasso, dedicated to the world of games and involving local gaming associations and town shops, as well as an International Theatre Festival-Competition. The town also holds the collegiate church of Santa Maria Assunta and the Octagonal Tower.
