Positioned on the rolling hills between the Plain of Catania and the Erei Mountains, Raddusa stands 350 meters above sea level near Lake Ogliastro. Located about 45 kilometers west of Catania and 130 kilometers southeast of Palermo, this inland Sicilian town borders the province of Enna and counts 3,280 residents.
Durum wheat farming shapes the surrounding countryside and remains the mainstay of the local economy. In 2022, Raddusa joined over 100 central Sicilian municipalities in the First World Park of the Mediterranean Lifestyle, an initiative highlighting the region's traditional agrarian heritage and rural culture.
