The patron saint of Sori is Saint Gotthard, celebrated on 15 August. The town's main church is the parish church of Santa Margherita, in the main settlement, built between 1711 and 1714 to a design by the architect Antonio Maria Ricca.
A short distance away stands the sanctuary of Nostra Signora delle Grazie, dating from 1509, which holds an image of a black Madonna and Child bought in the East in the 16th century by the sea captain Gerolamo Stagno; in the hamlet of the same name stands instead the 13th-century church of Sant'Apollinare, near the watchtower also known as the «Saracen tower» along the path to Polanesi.
