The patron saint of Fossalto is Saint Nicholas, celebrated on 9 May: devotion to the saint is also attested in the town by a votive aedicule dedicated to him.
The town also preserves the church of Sant'Antonio di Padova. The historic centre was once fortified with towers and walls, dismantled during the 18th century, when the fief of Fossalto belonged to the Di Capua and Mascione families, who also owned the baronial palace still standing there today.
