The patron saint of Grugliasco is Saint Roch: although his liturgical feast traditionally falls on 16 August, since 2000 the ecclesiastical authority has allowed the people of Grugliasco to move the patronal feast to 31 January, in memory of the first procession held to seek his intercession for protection from the plague.
Grugliasco is also known today for the Palio della Gru, an event organised since 1984 by the cultural association «Cojtà Gruliascheisa». The town also holds important places of worship such as the church of San Cassiano, with its own bell tower, and the church of the Holy Spirit, along with historic sites such as the former psychiatric hospital named after Victor Emmanuel III.
