The patron of Abbasanta is Saint Catherine of Alexandria, celebrated on 25 November.
In the countryside stands the rural church of Sant'Agostino, part of the same parish, inaugurated on 16 August 1891. Around it, worshippers built over time «sos muristenes», simple stone houses to host families and pilgrims during August and September, forming a small hamlet named after the saint. The town also holds the Nuraghe Aiga and the Ethnographic Museum.
