The patron saint of Capaci is Saint Erasmus, celebrated on 2 June.
For the feast of Saint Joseph, some devotees of the holy patriarch prepare a soup each year following a 16th-century recipe: an old custom held that it was distributed to the poor. Alongside the same feast, every other year, a historical re-enactment of the town's founding is held, which took place on 18 March 1517, with a historical procession of the Beccadelli family. In the mother church of Capaci, the 17th-century papier-mâché statue of the dead Christ, with articulated arms, used in Holy Week rites, is also held. The town also holds the Palazzo Pilo.
