The patron of Châtillon is Saint Peter, celebrated on 29 June, and the church that bears his name is the village's own.
Inside it is also the parish museum, a small museum of sacred art: a silver-gilt copper reliquary casket of the 15th century, chalices, monstrances and vestments from the 16th to the 18th century, two 15th-century wooden statues of Saints Paul and John the Baptist that once stood on the mullioned windows of the bell tower, and the 17th-century crucifix from the triumphal arch.
