The patron saints of Mendatica are Saints Nazarius and Celsus, celebrated on 28 July, in the parish church dedicated to them in the main town. The present building was rebuilt during the 18th century, after the demolition of the first parish church, which dated from the 15th century: the new structure, with a single nave and in the Baroque style, preserves a statue depicting a Madonna, the work of the Genoese sculptor Anton Maria Maragliano.
The town also preserves the church of Santa Margherita, the chapel of San Bernardo, and the sanctuary of the Madonna dei Colombi, as well as the Arroscia waterfalls and the Ruggi fountain.
