The patroness of Carrù is the Assumption of Mary, celebrated on 15 August in the Church of Maria Vergine Assunta.
The Fat Ox Fair, first held in 1910 on the initiative of the Mondovì Agricultural Council, takes place every year on the second Thursday of December and draws thousands of visitors; in recent years, the Beef and Fat Cow Fair was also established, on the second Thursday of March. In September, the Grape Festival is held, concluding with a parade of allegorical floats on the last Sunday of the month. The town also holds the Sanctuary of Sant'Anna del Bosco and the Castello di Carrù.
