The patroness of San Carlo Canavese is Our Lady of Oropa, celebrated on the fourth Sunday of August.
In the Chapel of San Nicolao, part of a private property in what is now the Fornero hamlet, once called «D'oria», a rectangular hall is preserved whose walls bear four Mannerist frescoes datable to the mid-17th century, depicting among other things the Exhibition of the Holy Shroud, the Flight into Egypt and the Annunciation. The town also holds the church of San Carlo Borromeo and the church of Santa Maria di Spinerano.
