Feast of Saint Petronius
📅 Every year, on 4 October
On 4 October Bologna celebrates Saint Petronius, patron of the city and namesake of the basilica on Piazza Maggiore. Beside him the city venerates a second: Caterina de' Vigri, whom Bolognese call simply "the Saint".
