Alberobello's patrons are two physicians, Cosmas and Damian, and their feast runs four days: 25 to 28 September, with the relics kept in the basilica named after them.
📅 Every year, the Fanòve on 11 January and the patron on the 12th; the second feast on the last Sunday of April
On 11 January bonfires are lit all over town — the Fanòve, stacks of wood burning on the eve of the patron: the Madonna to whom the townspeople credited their deliverance from the plague.

On 8 May Bari celebrates Saint Nicholas. His relics reached the city on 9 May 1087, carried by sixty-two Bari sailors who had taken them from Myra, in Lycia.
